Underberg School is a co-educational, primary and pre-primary school offering small classes from Grade R to Grade 7. Our boarding establishment provides a home away from home atmosphere and is an integral part of the success of our school.

Because the school believes in developing the "whole" person, it is committed to a broadly-based curriculum that caters for the needs of every child.

Our Junior Primary children have a happy and exciting time exploring their environment, and learning through interaction. Our individualised reading and maths programmes have been thoroughly researched and we are regarded as leaders in these fields. Our resident Remedial Teacher and Occupational Therapist are always on hand to guide and support both children and teachers.

Our children then enter the Senior Primary phase, ready to face these new challenges with confidence. Special attention is given to providing holistic education and the fostering of self-discipline and self-motivation. As a result of the outstanding performance in all areas of education at Underberg School, our pupils have the opportunity to attend the high school of their choice.
